The Mama Tribe
As mothers, we play a huge part in transforming our society. Our kids are our future leaders, we are their first teachers and mentors, TOGETHER WE SHAPE THE FUTURE. However, we can not do it alone.
The Mama Tribe Mentoring Program is designed to support and guide young mothers aged 13-23 in the Greater New Orleans area. The Mama Tribe includes a network of different mothers from all walks of life. We aim to foster a program that supports young mothers in their journey by providing them with someone they relate to, motivate and uplift them.

WHAT WE OFFER
01. One on One Mentoring
The program will match volunteer mentors from the community with young mother mentees. The mentors will provide one-on-one support and guidance to the mentees in various aspects of their lives.
02. Group Sessions
We offer monthly mentoring sessions that focus on wellness, and lifestyle skills, providing a platform for group learning, discussions, and sharing experiences
03. Holistic Support Services
Overcome barriers with our array of support services, including diaper distribution, essential baby items, postpartum support, mental health support, etc.
